Hobbies
My hobbies include taking online courses from Coursera and Udemy. I enjoy learning about history, politics, economics, and law. On weekends, it is not unusual for me to wake up early to watch TED Talks, National Geographic documentaries, Harvard or MIT Lectures, or appreciate a few YouTube episodes of “Real Russia.”
I also enjoy giving short talks and lectures. One of my favorites was being able to talk about Italian politics while providing a lecture at the Italian Cultural Society in Sacramento, where I have also taken Italian language classes. You can learn more about this lecture at:
For sports, I enjoy watching baseball, soccer, and polo. One of my favorite venues for polo is the Wine Country Polo Club in Santa Rosa, California. The amazing scenic views of the Napa Valley region greet you as you near the polo club. Here, exciting polo has been offered every summer since 1969 to polo players and spectators alike. If you like horses and an engaging sport, this is one I highly recommend and the breathtaking surrounding landscape at this particular location is pretty hard to beat.
